In an age where dating websites and applications crowd the internet what explains that there are more singles than ever? Our theory is that laziness has a lot to do with it!
Yes! Singles have become lazy and technology is the culprit. Instead of spending time in the real world they spend hours glued to their desktops, Ipads and Iphones. Instead of being ''out there'' and meeting new people, they are content with creating a profile on one or several dating sites and inserting a few selfies (sometimes taken in front of the bathroom mirror) and then waiting for their prince charming or goddess.
For men, it means spending hours sending emails that don't get answered and for women it means receiving hundreds of proposals from shirtless men with the latest fish that they caught or just showing off their shiny Harley...
It's so much easier to put our love live in the hands of social media. It's trouble free... no need to get dressed, put on some makeup, wear that new shirt...no! Everything happens in the comfort of our own empty home or apartment.
So, unless you happen to be really lucky or enjoy going on countless dates with people who do not resemble their profile pictures, it won't work. You can't find love sitting on your couch and exchanging countless text messages with a perfect stranger are not the foundation for a strong relationship. You have to get off your butt and get out there. You have to meet real people! It's only face to face that we can find true love.
